A new release of the Windows disk creator is available. This version updates the resulting Linux system to contain a v2.2.19 kernel and fixes the problems with the DHCP server failing to start. The Windows disk creator files have also been added to the FTP site for those of you that are having trouble with the web download system.
The Coyote Linux Disk Creator for Windows has been updated to v2.0.2. This version includes some bug fixes for PPP dialup users and brings some of the init scripts into sync with the Linux release. Please note that this release is not packaged with Install Shield and is simply in "unzip and use" form... future versions will (once again) have an installer, but for now, there is none.
Coyote Linux v1.30 has been released and is available for download. This release represents the latest stable release of Coyote Linux and includes a Big pond login client, PPP compressions/decompression support and includes various bug fixes to the init scripts.
I apologize of the lack up updates, support, returned emails, etc over the past month or so, but I have been overly busy. Lack of work on Coyote and response to emails can mainly be contributed to the fact that the company I work for (my real job) just got bought out, I just bought a new house (in which I had to finish the basement), new office space has been set up for Vortech.net and Coyote Linux, during the move I have been without Internet access for nearly 2 weeks, and Blizzard released the expansion pack to Diablo 2 ;).
With any luck, things should return to normal in the next week or so and work on Coyote Linux will resume.
Eric J has contributed some time to put together a FAQ for Coyote Linux. You can read his FAQ here: http://www.dalantech.com/coyote-faq.shtml. Thanks Eric!
