Coyote Linux Admin Guides

Kudos go to ND3 from the Router Design Project for some very well written administration guides for Coyote Linux. Both the Windows Disk Creator version (1.23) and the Linux Script version (1.31) are covered.

Coyote Linux channel on freenode.net

I have started up a #coyotelinux IRC channel on Freenode (formerly openprojects.net). You can join the channel by connecting to irc.freenode.net or irc.ipv6.freenode.net. If I'm around, my handle on Freenode is JayJay.

Subscription Channels Available / Accounts Database Online

The subscription channels are now available for those that have an account on either this site or the Vortech Consulting customer services site. You can establish a free account by using the Create Account link in the left hand column. From the channel menus, you can now purchase a download subscription for the Wolverine Firewall and VPN server. Personal subscriptions start at USD$30 for 6 months of download access. If you have any problems or questions about the download services, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

User accounts database reset

The user account database for the Coyote Linux web site has been reset. This was necessary as the user authentication system is being replaced. You will be able to re-establish an account shortly.

The user authentication system that is used on this site is being redesigned and integrated with the Vortech Consulting user services site. This is being done to allow the Coyote Linux site to make use of the Vortech subscription channels and merchant services.

The new user registration system has been disabled until the transition is completed. Once completed, you will be able to re-establish an account for access to areas of the site requiring authentication.
