The Coyote Linux web site has been overhauled (again). The new site is using a PHP-Nuke backend with a custom theme and several custom modules. This change is intended to provide a more robust site layout to merge both the floppy and embedded Coyote sites as well as offer a location for some new products and services.
In addition, I have converted the forum software (phorum) to work as a PHP-Nuke plugin. If you experience any problems with the forums, please let me know as I am fairly certain there may still be a bug or two to work out. Forum logins have been disabled until I get PHP-Nuke security integrated into phorum.
Additional content will be added over the course of the next couple days to fill in some of the blank sections on the site.
Wes Brewer has released a packaging system for Coyote Linux to make adding additional software easier. Please note that this is not an officially supported project, so contact Wes if you have problems with it. You can get the software here.
I apologize for the lack up updates and responses to bugs and questions lately. I recently resigned from my position as a senior network engineer at a local insurance company to start my own consulting company. I am now working full time on network design and security consulting. If you would like more information about this consulting business the web site is www.vortech.net. I will try to get some additional work done on the various Coyote products (namely Wolverine and Fury) as soon as I get my initial scramble for business out of the way. I am also looking for individuals or companies that are interest in funding the development of Embedded Coyote Linux and its associated products. If you would like to contact me, please email
