I apologize of the lack up updates, support, returned emails, etc over the past month or so, but I have been overly busy. Lack of work on Coyote and response to emails can mainly be contributed to the fact that the company I work for (my real job) just got bought out, I just bought a new house (in which I had to finish the basement), new office space has been set up for Vortech.net and Coyote Linux, during the move I have been without Internet access for nearly 2 weeks, and Blizzard released the expansion pack to Diablo 2 ;).
With any luck, things should return to normal in the next week or so and work on Coyote Linux will resume.

The Embedded Coyote Linux distribution has advanced by leaps and bounds. I have been working very heavily on this new product and it is quickly nearing a usable state. If you would like to check out some of the progress being made, you can now download an automatically updated ISO installer image from the Vortech FTP site or from the Vortech File Download System. Links are provided from the Embedded Coyote Project Homepage.

Coyote Linux v1.29 has been repackaged to fix a bug that prevented it from booting on most systems. The experimental support for a serial port console has been removed as it was the cause of the problems. If you downloaded v1.29 prior to May 28th, 2001, and it will not properly boot, try downloading it again and creating a new disk.
